At the bottom, I mentioned that I'm using "digiKam version 0.10.0-rc2 (rev.:
916261) ".

Unfortunately, I was also unable to reproduce this problem after trying to
delete 4 more albums in a similar manner - all of them deleted without crashes.
The only difference I could see is that prior to the crash described in this
report, digikam has been running (idle as well as active) overnight for about
12 hours.
