What I was doing when the application crashed:
I plugged in my SDHC card (VFAT formatted with Panasonic Lumix TMC-TZ7) and
followed the KDE4 option to download content with digiKam.

I selected all 120 .jpg-Pictures and 3 .mts-Movies (AVCHD Lite) and then
selected the download-icon. At this point, digiKam crashed.
