stopping KDirWatch events will have side-effect, especially if you use batch
tool to sync metadata with database.

This tool is non modal dialog. It run in background and you can switch to main
gui and continue to work. Now imagine than folder can non receive events from
KDirWatch when you working on with icon-view...
