[Digikam-devel] extension selection for saving

Hi,

can someone please test my changes implemented for this bug before the 
next release:

For me everything worked, but it was harder to get this going than I 
thought, because there is so much knowledge about image types and their 
options spread around several classes. This definitely also needs a 
refactoring for the image editor port...
