The Marble plugin can only be built with KDE >= 4.3. It is optional and only
improves the rendering.

Looking at your backtrace, the Marble widget does not seem to be involved in
it.

Do you also have a digikam version provided by your distribution installed? If
so, the reason for your crash might be that the digikam version you launch
loads plugins from an older version, which are incompatible, and then crashes.

Be sure to prepend the directory where you installed your self compiled version
to KDEDIRS, KDEDIR and LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
