which is one of the top rated wishes ... ;-)

Personally I am unsure about the renaming aspect, because
different orderings might be needed for different slideshows;
eg.: best of the year or best of nature etc., which might have common
pictures, but in different orderings. To me a virtual ordering
for a given tag seems more powerful. Also one could try to just
use the normal icon view and drag-and-drop for re-ordering to not
have another separate tool.
