Summary: Wish: Visual tool to change the sort order of photos
           Product: digikam
           Version: 0.10.0
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: krienke at uni-koblenz.de

Version: 0.10.0 (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Often, when preparing for a slide show you want to reorder some of the photos
of an digikam album. Sorting photos means usually to rename them, since usually
photos are sorted by their filename.

What I would like to have is a tool that helps me in changing the sort order by
simply dragging a photo from one position to another. So this tool could look
like a light table showing photos of an album in their natural sort order and
then allow me to drag eg a photo from the end to the beginning. As a result
this photo just dragged to the start should be renamed so that digikam as well
as regular file browsers now show this photo before all others in this album.
