I just looked again at LQR, it wouldn't help here either. LQR takes the image
data and manipulates it (also changes the size etc), so we really need to give
the library a copy of the data.
If I remember correctly, so does OpenCV... :-(
So this really doesn't help... well it was just a quick thought :-)
