I can't get it to work on my kubuntu 8.04.1, kde 3.5.9, digikam 0.9.3.

As soon as I click the left mouse inside the rectangle, the grey image overlay
goes away and "No selection" appears in the status bar...if nobody else is
having this problem and the code is there, then I agree to mark this wishlist
as invalid.

I'm adding a new wish with the second point now.

Any idea about what might be wrong with my system?
