Hi, I'm one of those that have
problems with a ptp camera (a canon one).
What is odd is that i could use it very well into digikam kde3 series.
Now i can't see it in my i586 machine, i can use it in x86_64 one but
download photos does not work almost at all, it says there are problems
with same directory name or something like that....

I could help you in testing and try to fix that problem if you need, not
tonight
though -cause i have to go to ALID to give a lesson to new members-.

You can see that gnome programs work, so the problem is digikam (or kde4) :(
