I can compile beta5 under openSUSE 10.3, these are the package versions of libkdcraw I have installed:

libkdcraw1-0.1.1-22
libkdcraw2-0.1.3-2.1
libkdcraw-devel-0.1.4-3.1
libkdcraw3-0.1.4-3.1

Make sure to have the right devel package... everything should compile fine now.
