When digikam displays a virtual folder, eg all pics from all albums with a certain tag set it always displays a rather large Banner above each list of photos of one physical album. 

Sometimes it happens that there is only one photo that has eg this tag set and this photo is then displayed in a whole row of its own with a big banner above it. 

The pronlem is, that this makes it difficult to get an overview of all the photos since a lot of display space is wasted. This causes a lot of scrolling. Even reducing the image preview size does not help since the single photo will always be displayed on one line together with banner above it. 

It would be nice to have a display option to display such a virtual album without those banners just one photo next the another what I called a "compact"  view of the virtual folder.
