Yesterday 0.9.3-2 pkgs were uploaded to Debian/Sid.  This pkgs fixed
another showfoto crash on exit in Kubuntu:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/digikam/+bug/206354

So give the new pkgs a try.
