With current KDE4 implementation, duing the integration of thumbbar with preview mode, all thumbnails of current album are loaded in background.

In fact this is a side effect, not a real wish from me. But i cannot see any latency time with thumbnail rendering in icon view.

Is you can compile and test KDE4 version of digiKam, can you report your feedback ?
