1) I see that F-Spot has this function. It is very nice, with a good scrolling effect when moving between pictures. I highly recommend the Digikam devs take a look at F-Spot for this feature and others.

2) I wanted to move this to the View Component, but I don't see one. I am learning which bugs belong in which components, but no current Components jump out at me as being an obvious place for View Mode bugs. Thanks.
