It would be very convenient if Digikam had a "Change Canvas Size" function, like GIMP and CinePaint have. It allows the user to quickly expand or shrink the image with automatic centering on the canvas.

I know you can shrink an image using 'Crop' and expand it by using the 'Add Border' tool. Shrinking an image and keeping it centered is quite a hassle though. A "Change Canvas Size" function would be a lot quicker.

One additional wish is that the sizes can be specified in inches/cm/mm in stead of pixels. The resulting image size should also be shown both in pixels and in inch/cm/mm.
