Summary: Olympus raw images shown with wrong orientation
           Product: digikam
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: languitar semipol de

Version: (using KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

Since digikam is able to read Olympus orf images I've noticed a bug concerning the orientation of the displayed images.
I'm using exiv2-0.1.6 so exif information of orf-images from my Olympus E-510 are processed correctly by ufraw. This also means that digikams exif browser displays an orientation for all my raw images and in the thumbnail preview all images are rotated correctly. Nevertheless, if I display one of the portrait images (using F3), digikam doesn't rotate the image. This happens for both possible values of the orientation exif field my camera generates: right - top and left - bottom.
