Summary: Wrong button text to save image tags and caption
Product: digikam
Version: unspecified
Platform: unspecified
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: digikam-devel at kde.org
ReportedBy: anders at alweb.dk
Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
Compiler: Target: x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27-ARCH
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package
This is a suggestion to change the button text on the caption/rating/tags
'apply' button to 'save'.
I suggest it because what happens is that the user data is saved when the
button is pressed (or the prompt accepted), and otherwise lost. In newer
versions of digikam, the data can even be stored in the image file, making this
even more obvious.
Usually 'apply' is used for changing settings, which is very different in that
the options not used are not lost.
