What is the exact reason that this is not a duplicate of 175102? The backtrace
is identical.

Gilles, there is no crash in any LoadSave class. Look at the backtrace of
thread1. This is very strange: It seems to go through the constructor of
RawSettingsBox two times (#67, #36) before crashing in readSettings().

As I said with bug 175102: Is this crash from within gdb or from the crash
dialog? If it is not from gdb, can you do so?
