Summary: Digikam crashes after trying to import from Nikon
                    Coolpix 4600
           Product: digikam
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: alexrudd0 at gmail.com

Version: r893417 (using Devel)
Compiler:          g++ (Ubuntu 4.3.2-1ubuntu11) 4.3.2
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

I have base KDE packages installed via Kubuntu's PPA, but I compiled digikam
today following the instructions here:
http://wiki.kde.org/tiki-index.php?page=Digikam+Compilation+on+Kubuntu+Intrepid
/kdegraphics is r893417

I launched it in GNOME. My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4600 that has worked
before, although I never remember if I use PTP or USB mass storage.

(1) Import > Cameras (autodetected) > USB imaging interface. (This is not what
I remember using from previous DK versions, but it brought up the right window)
(2) Select pictures to download. Creation of new folders to store them worked.
Progress bar looked like pictures were being transferred.
(3) I closed the Import window, and digikam crashed fairly quickly thereafter.
(4) Backtrace proclaims itself to be useless.

I tried the same steps again, and this time the pictures were copied (I did use
a slightly different set). However, digikam still crashed.
