Images (preview not editing) are displayed now for me. I once need to to drag
the splitter at the bottom - which wasn't visible but the mouse change when you
go over it. 

Until then CTRL-T has no effect. From now on all works fine, even when I
restart digikam.CTRL-T works too.

Maybe an uninitialized config value which needs to be set once?
