Sputnik: the problem with your crash report is "(no debugging symbols found)". 
A proper backtrace which includes debugging symbols is needed 
to find the source of the problem. This
means that you will have to recompile digikam, libkexiv, exiv2, ... and
so with debugging enabled.

Alternatively you may try the dbg packages for digikam 0.9.3 from 
http://www.mpe.mpg.de/~ach/kubuntu/gutsy/

Please file a separate bug for each crash with 0.9.3 (unless
that crash is already listed in the bug tracker).
