Summary: Too small images when "Embedded preview load full image
                    size" deactivated
           Product: digikam
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: dominic battre de

Version: SVN Trunk (4/27/2008) (using KDE 4.0.3)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

After converting the following image https://cit-server.cit.tu-berlin.de/~battre/IMG_0761.CR2 to JPEG using Batch -> Batch RAW Converter (Save settings -> Output file format: JPEG) the preview (Image->View) is very small (100% crop is about 600x400) while the JPG has a much higher resolution.

I am aware that this depends on the "Embedded preview load full image size" setting. If activated, the image is displayed properly. If deactivated, the image is displayed too small. Other images of the same resolution (!) but generated by the camera directly instead of Digikam's RAW Converter are displayed properly.

This might be related to bad EXIV data described in bug #161337.

The bug is reproducible with Digikam trunk (0.9.4-beta4, 4/27/2008, revision 801723) with Kipi library 0.1.6 / KExiv2 0.1.7 / Exiv2 0.16 and Digikam 0.9.4-beta3 (Gentoo) with Kipi library 0.1.5 / KExiv2 0.1.6 / Exiv2 0.16.
