[Digikam-devel] Raw images are not converted into 16bit?

Hi,

when I convert RAW images, they are always saved as 8bit (tif or 
png).  Selecting or de-selecting "16 bits color depth" in the 
settings does not have any effect.  How can I save the images in 
16bit?
