Hello,

I would like to be able to export selected pictures to the Picasaweb on-line galleries in a given album, similarly to what can be done with the "KIPI Remote Flickr Export Plugin". Picasaweb is a very simple to use service and it offers a free 1GB of storing (upgrade is possible with a subscription). Today, Google announced a new web service API for this service in which it is possible to add pictures: See http://code.google.com/apis/picasaweb/gdata.html#Add_Photo
(it is also possible through a call to "api/user/<name>?kind=album" to get a list of existing albums, etc.). Maybe it can be a starting point.

A good news is that the new feature of storing metadata in the picture itself (EXIF or IPTC) is already working very well with picasa (comments are imported and shown, even geo tags are recognized and can be connected to a call to google earth) so it should work for picasaweb comments as well..

Actually, "importing" pictures from picasaweb would be nice as well :-).

PS: 0.9 is a MAJOR great version ! Thx to Gilles and the rest of the team for such a wonderful tool !

Cheers,
Christophe.
