Partially. click on thumb can open Preview view (or editor, it's configurable 
in setup). To backup to album, you can:

- Right click on picture and select "Back to Album" pop-up menu option,
- Press ESC
- Press F3

Personally, i always use F3 to go to preview and back to album, and i'm very 
happy like this...
