Summary: Not all edit actions are available as batch commands
(for example auto-levels and gamma correction)
           Product: digikam
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel kde org
ReportedBy: kde kde lka org lu

Version: 0.9.2-final (using KDE 3.5.7, Kubuntu (gutsy) 4:3.5.7-1ubuntu14)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-10-generic

My Fuji F40FD occasionally produces entire runs of pictures which are underexposed. I've noticed that a great way to fix these up is to apply a gamma correction of 1.5 or 2 (to make them brighter) followed by Color->AutoCorrection->Autolevels (to remove the "fog" which often arises after a gamma correction).

However, right now, both functions are only available from the image editor, but not as batch commands.

Would it be possible to add these as batch as well. I see that there is already an "Decrease Contrast" and "Increase Contrast" option, so why not add "Decrease (Gamma) Brightness" and "Increase (Gamma) Brightness".

There also are batch actions for the "Normalize" and "Equalize" color correction options. But why aren't there any for "AutoLevels" and "AutoExposure" (which usually give much better results than Normalize and Equalize)
