 I think this wish was implemented. Maybe sometimes isn't working 100% but this belongs to realm of bugs. As a wish this is IMO fulfilled. The only remaining issue I see there is no "magic" button/menu option: download new photos. You have to make two steps a) select new photos b) download selected photos. Awkward.

ps. For me it is working 100% (Fujifilm FinePix S6500fd and Olympus C-350).

Any voices against closing?
