Summary: pictures rendering incorrectly when window maximized
           Product: digikam
           Version: 0.9.1
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: jomtois gmail com

Version: 0.9.1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

This bug has been showing up for me since the new digiKam came out recently through my Kubuntu distribution upgrade.

I initially noticed it when I was using the Aspect Ratio crop tool, but now I can get it to happen intermittently when opening pictures in the digiKam image editor.

What happens is that when using digiKam in a maximzed window, the picture renders itself in blocks that are not in the correct order to show the picture properly. It looks like the picture was cut into strips and rearranged or overlaid on one another. THis only shows when "Zoom Autofit" is on. If that is unchecked, the picture is correct. This often happens after it redraws after an aspect ratio crop, but also happens when first opening the picture.

My screen resolution is 1280x1024. If I resize the window smaller, the image displays correctly. Maximizing the window will redraw with the picture incorrectly. This was not happening in my previous version of digiKam. I will attach screenshots if possible to show what is happening.

It does not happen on every picture so it is hard to always reproduce. I have not noticed any pattern to when it occurs, it just does. It is annoying after carefully cropping a picture to have to redo it. I can provide any more info if requested.
