I am not talking about building something like that into Digikam but
using Digikam resources (or copy of them).

Short tooltips are be visible when hovering over button (check KMail,
Konqueror, etc.)

Not sure. Exiv2 is just checking out more important elements. It may be
task of application to make it more human readable, but OK.
