Summary: Print Wizard: Scale images in stead of cropping
           Product: digikam
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: d.h.j.takken phys uu nl

Version: 0.9.0-Beta1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

I wonder why you need to manually crop and rotate every single image that is printed when using the print wizard. With some print sizes, it is impossible to even print the whole image because the cropping area has a different aspect ratio.

I would suggest using exactly the same algorithm as used by digikam to display the thumbnails in its main window. It would be great if I could have an album printed on paper which looks exactly like the thumbnail view of DigiKam.
