Maksim, do you confirm than the crash is probably relevant of using KDebug() statement in a QThread ? Also, there is a plan to fix some kdelib part to be threadsafe with KDE 4.0 (especially KDebug class) ? 

Marcel, if KDebug is not threadsafe, we can use QDebug instead where it's necessary to post debug messages in the console from separate thread implementation. Right ?
