Summary: Digikam fails to connect to Fuji Finepix S7000
                    (Konquerer works fine)
           Product: digikam
           Version: 0.8.2
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: piers raw-pleasure com au

Version: 0.8.2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

If I type in media:/sda1/DCIM in the location bar of Konquerer it displays images from my Fuji Finepix fine.

When I plug it in and turn it on Kubuntu recognises it and mounts fine.

When I choose Camera / browse media:/sda1 Digikam reports "Failed to List Files in /sda1" (should that have media:/ in front of it?)

When I go through and (in Digikam) tell it to Add Camera and choose Fuji Finepix S7000 and then choose "Browse Fuji Finepix S7000 (PictBridge Mode)" Digikam reports "Failed to Connect to Camera. Please make sure it's connected and turned on. Would you like to try again?"

I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the fact that this camera stores images in a subfolder (/DCIM) or something.

I'm on Kubuntu Edgy Eft, using an Intel P-4, connecting a Fujifinepix S7000 by USB.

It's a vanilla install that came with Kubuntu (I haven't added any plugins)
