There is no reason to take Joerns advice as a personal offense. Digkam project has about 200 bug reports open, so all the things he pointed out are VALID. Bug tracking can not be done like this and the devels spend to much time cleaning bug reports anyway. 

So if you realy want to help or get your wishes in, please correct your report as adviced. In the end of cause it is your choise which apps you use and which not. Don't get me wrong, "miscommunication" can happen (and happen to me often, too). But if the devs ask you to correct/improve certain thinks, pls. try to do so. And take into account that most of us are NOT native English speakers, so thinks _might_ sound rude sometimes without the intention of the author.
