You can use 0.9.1 or 0.10.0 or svn. 0.10.0 prefered actually. svn for 
developpers only.

I have add minolta makernotes parser in 0.10.0. It more advanced than 
Exiftools. With a digiKam user, we have reverse engineered Dynax 5D camera 
settings... Not yet complete (:=)))

In next release of Exiv2, i will add i18n and PNG support
