sorry for the late answer:

Unfortunately there is no debug output when runnig digikam from the console:

chkr:~> digikam 
Link points to "/tmp/ksocket-chkr"
Link points to "/tmp/kde-chkr"
kbuildsycoca running...
Reusing existing ksycoca
chkr:~>

Do you have any idea, how I can reproduce the output.

Nevetheless, can you reproduce the probloem?
