Summary: Integrate K3B into main user window with tabs for
project management
Product: digikam
Version: 0.7.3
Platform: Compiled Sources
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: digikam-devel kde org
ReportedBy: sleepkreep gmail com
Version: 0.7.3 (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: 0.7.3
OS: Linux
I would like to see K3B Integrated into Digikam. The best way to do this would be to right click an album or photo and choose 'Create K3b Project'. This would prompt the user to name the project and create a tree under 'My Tags' called 'Burn Projects' with a project in the tree labeled the user specified name. Then the user can drag and drop an album or photo into the project to add to the burn project just as if it were an album. When the project is clicked to be viewed, the photo frame will have an embedded frame at the bottom with a square box. The box will contain the text: 'Drag photos here to remove from project'. When the user is satisfied with the photo selection, the user clicks the burn button beside the remove-photo-box and k3b is started with the photos in the project ready to burn.
