Summary: Sanyo VPC-G200 camera is recognised, but digiKam cannot
                    find images.
           Product: digikam
           Version: 0.7.2
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: gct3 f2s com

Version: 0.7.2 (using KDE 3.3.2, (testing/unstable))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.6 (Debian 1:3.3.6-7)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.10

When the Sanyo VPC-G200 is selected from the long list, it shows this correctly as a serial camera and its serial device as /dev/ttyS0. When you add the camera and then click on it from the Camera menu, it first connects with the camera and then looks in folder / for images. It never finds any, whether the camera is on or off. Using the old program TyGeMo at /dev/ttyS0, images are found and downloaded to a selected folder and even deleted from the camera, so images can be detected and downloaded.

It seems that images are being sought only in the folder / and not in any subfolders, and there seems to be no way to change this.
