[Digikam-devel] Is it save to use 0.8?

Hi, 
i like some features of the development version very much, is it save to use 
it already? Its running stable here, without crashes, the more important 
question is, will the database-structure change before 0.8 is released?
I dont want to loose thousands of tags i create with 0.8 now.  

I know some sql, so if some changes have to be made, that i can fix with 
sql-ing around in the database its not a big problem.
