What can we do to help the Digest?

Hello all,
Digest is a great initiative. We get much positive feedback from readers both 
online and if met in person. However, there is a problem. The backlog of the
digest has got up to more than 10k posts. I am unable to handle that myself
with other projects in progress.

That's why I ask you to think what we can do to make Digest running again. 
What would make *you* work on it more? It may be some technical, 
organizational or any other solution you see fit.
