I agree, a single author should not be mentioned. As you say all the names of the contributors are already mentioned on the 
side, and it seems to give the impression that the work of the single author is valued more than the collective work of the 
entire team. When I published an issue once I felt a bit sorry for 'taking credit' because I did not do so much work in getting it 
published.
