Sure but I did say in my draft that we are porting and that it sets a bright new future – but really for the average user it doesn’t matter much what kind of tools we use – it’s what it means for the user that is important

No: it says "(Future infrastructure changes include switching from bzr to git, shifting from Gtk2 to Gtk3, and moving to the C++11 standard.)" I.e., that's what they're going to do.

 

Sorry, just noticed this, hard grammar to me; regardless, they found it important to notify users what they do apart of adding features and more importantly why :)
