Given the appdata file installation rules seem to use SHARE_INSTALL_PREFIX with success, seems to be an acceptable var :)

But I have no idea how the var works for windows, osx and other non-linuxoid platforms.
@boud, can you tell, given this is mainly about things installed by krita?
