That sounds fine. Iirc, internal size and position is stored in krsize and krpos variables, but there is a lot of converting to scene positions and user units in the property pane

Yes, the format is OK.

Yes, my intuition is that the internal structures could use one
resolution independent unit and conversion could be done when (if) needed.
The use KReportDpi / QScreen could be highly reduced then. How does this sound?
