I find the delete code way to complex to review just now - I don't like the user of comparing cursor positions it's error prone so i need to take a closer look
I see you still don't copy sections that are partly inside and partly outside the selection - i think we need to discuss this some more before merging
and the visualization of sections surely don't belong in production code
But all in all you show a nice understanding of how everything works
but no ok just yet
