ODS read write standalone support

Hi,

I looked at the Calligra 2.7 source code but it's big and couldn't
figure it out.

Though it's not your (main) mission, is there an (easy) way to take
source code from Calligra or is there a "Calligra Sheets" library that
I can use from/for my own app to be able to read to and write from ODS
(spreadsheet) files?


Unlike Java, it seems C++ lacks support for easy read/write support
for (ODF/ODS) spreadsheets.
