Calligra Maintainers - status updated - more applications about to be freezed

Hi,
While 2.9 Beta is out (congrats!), I am sending this to confirm we're
looking for new contributors and more contributions for our nice apps.

A term of "freeze" has been coined and now more or less applies to
various apps: https://community.kde.org/Calligra/Maintainers.

More strictly: "Proposed for freeze in 3.0 if no contributors join"

* Carbon and Plan is known to be in this situation already.
* Calligra Author and Braindump were the new kids labeled as
experimental and are now in this group too.
* It's sad to admit Calligra Sheets and Stage also received close to
no contributions in recent releases so also are candidates to
freezing.
  This is serious thing as we're talking about core office applications.

We at Calligra are about to spend so much energy on porting most
active apps to Qt 5 and KF 5 so new blood for the above apps is
clearly needed. You have still time to join now and we're here to help
you. Once the applications are frozen, it will become increasingly
more difficult.

Please don't hesitate to ask in this thread or privately
(https://community.kde.org/Calligra/Contact), some apps are smaller,
some are bigger. Maintaining does not mean you have to add dozens of
new features. Applications just need to be in a shippable state for
every release. A few hours a week was sufficient for many Calligra
maintainers.

This is a nice opportunity to join FOSS for real.

Don't be afraid, we're largely immune to sudden and ultimate
cancellation of releases of these apps. This is FOSS.
But this also means there are no "they" -- if you read this, you're
part of the project :)
