Working on it :-) It is sort of intertwined with the mvc branch, which is 
pretty broken right now, even if going in the right direction.

Okay -- that means I've got all the end-of-year holidays (I must have more 
than three weeks of spare vacation days) for fixing bugs in 2.8.

2.8 is going to be such an awesome release!
