Good to know! So my suggested approach would be:
- Skip the topic for the Week of Polish because it is too big for that
- Do some interaction design on a new welcome screen (I think we're already
quite far with Jaroslaw's ideas and the Krita Sketch mockup)
- Ask Timothee to do visual design
- Implement it in QML for all major applications (except maybe for Kexi since it
already has a relatively new welcome screen) in the 2.7 development cycle
- Ship it with 2.7
I think this is quite important for the user experience, but of course I can't
dictate your priorities ;)
