Announcement of 2.5alpha -- what to highlight?

For the perhaps-also-interesting section:
* new import filter for xfig files (supports big parts of the xfig 3.2 format)

Though I recently learned about fig2dev, which is also used by Inkscape for 
importing, and by which perhaps an even better support might be possible. Have 
to check in more detail, that might help with the problems I had met with some 
parts of the xfig formats before.
